This may not affect RTW, but it does appear to prevent the so-called 'modfoldered' mods from running correctly, since they work with a separate preferences.txt file. One feature of the 'UAC' causes Windows Vista to override RTW (among other software) to store its preferences.txt file inside the AppData folder, which is a subfolder of your User Account. Note 2: if you use Windows Vista you may experience certain errors due to the security model Vista uses to protect your PC from possible threats.
